The New Year has arrived up here in the Tennessee Mountains with cold snowy days turning the bleak winter landscape into a crystallized wonderland.  My poor website has remained frozen for most of last year.  So one of my New Year's resolutions is to learn and figure out all the intricate details of updating my website myself instead of having to wait on someone else to do it.  When it comes to doing web updating there is no one easy formula, but instead I have to work through two programs.  If nothing else my brain cells shall expand in the coming days.  I can't wait to see my website come alive once more.

The biggest even in our family last year was the wedding of our son, Dwight, to Amanda Rose in August.  Be sure and check out the wedding pictures on the Hemophilia page!  Not only did we gain another beautiful daughter, but we now have another adorable little boy as well.

I am still doing my weekly newspaper column, Creative Tennessee Mountain Cookin in the Herald-Citizen.  I update these recipes each week on my blog through the link at the bottom of the Creative Tennessee Mountain Cookin page.  Have fun browsing through all the recipes of the past couple years.

Christmas time was exciting at our house watching our three grandchildren open up their presents.  Of all times my camera went on the blink so I didn't get as many pictures as usual.  Both of my daughters made up for my lack as they tried out different affects and compared cameras.  I've put the couple of Christmas pictures that I took on our Photo page.  You can also find more pictures of our family on Face-Book as well.

Lucy Lou is still alive and kicking.  I plan to start doing a monthly blog from her doggy point of view.  You can find the link at the bottom of the Lucy Lou page.  I also plan to keep my Lyme blog updated too.  I am so thankful to be feeling stronger than last year and hope to get more writing done in the coming days.
